Dear Southern Markham Ravine Neighbor,
Attached is the
latest information I have acquired regarding the southern
tributary of the Markham Ravine. Regretfully, at this point in
time, it is the last information I will be
distributing to you. It is getting increasingly expensive
and time consuming to personally share information by going
door-to-door to 50+ neighbors. Also, I have found that some
neighbors do not share the same level of interest regarding the
Markham Ravine; and that some of those who are interested have
put the responsibility on me to keep them informed instead of on
self.
I want to personally invite you to
stay informed regarding the Markham Ravine. There are many
issues that are being addressed with many more that have yet to
be reviewed and discussed. Every Lincoln resident is invited to
attend each and every Markham Ravine Neighborhood Committee
meeting as all meetings are open to the general public. The
meeting dates vary from month to month so it is important to
find out when the next meeting will be held at the beginning of
each month. Sometimes, the Markham Ravine Neighborhood
Committee discusses other city issues that may be of interest to
you as well. Again, I will encourage you to stay informed as
only you can decide for yourself what is of importance.
As always, I am
not representing the City of Lincoln, the Markham
Ravine Neighborhood Committee, Arnaiz Developers, any Brookview
neighborhood, a specific group, you, or any other entity other
than myself. I am just one Lincoln resident freely sharing
factual information about the Markham Ravine with my neighbors.
If you have any
future interest in information regarding any issues, concerns,
or decisions being made about any part of the Markham Ravine,
please contact the City of Lincoln, the Markham Ravine
Neighborhood Committee at
www.markhamravine.org, the Lincoln News Messenger, Arnaiz
Developers, your source of choice, etc. You may call me at
434-9953 for what information I may (or may not) have. Hope to
see you at the next meetings!
Thank you,
Sue Hamman |
